Spring / Summer Shopping at Physical Retail Stores

One of the great listings that Fafard Commercial has is at 164 Milk Street in Westborough, MA. This great location off of RT 9 in Westborough is the perfect retail location. Strip shopping centers such as Westmeadow Plaza are really re-gaining attention in the commercial real estate industry. According to the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) 90 percent of Americans shopping will visit physical retail stores while shopping for Spring/Summer Apparel.
  • Overall, American adults shopping for spring/summer apparel have spent or will spend an average of $193.70, with only $26.90 of this to be spent online from pure-online retailers. 
  • Those with the highest household income will spend the most, while the group with the lowest household income will spend the least.
  • Generation Xers will lead spending among the age groups.
With nearly half of respondents have spent or will spend the same amount as last year. Westmeadow Plaza is a great place to open up that retail store that you have always been dreaming of.

Another great shopping center location that Fafard Commercial has to offer is in Milford MA. Quarry Square Shopping Center is located at 196 E Main Street in Milford MA.

Smart Protection for Your Smart Home

It truly is impressive if you stop and think how far technology has come. Being in real estate business, I often am interested in new advancements in the industry. One huge advancement that is quickly becoming more and more popular is smart homes. You can nearly do anything with your cell phone these days and controlling your light switches, heat/ac, and other electronics is the next big thing.

With so many new devices it is hard to know which smart home device is right for you. The problem is that many of these in-home devices are recording your every move. Data mining is of course a useful tool for large companies looking for information on the everyday consumer. However, the place to collect such information is invasive and certainly should not be completed while you are in the privacy of your own home. A device that keeps information private but also is stylish is the ZOE. It is one of the smartest smart home assistants on the market. It protects all of our private moments at home and does not send out any information. All information is stored on the ZOE so "what happens in your home, stays in your home". ZOE can be complete customized and is compatible with most best selling smart home products on the market. ZOE supports wireless technology such as Bluetooth, z-wave, and even cloud connected devices enabling ZOE to connect to over 1000 different devices. With an early bird price of  $149 it is a device that is sure to impress. Check out the link here: Protonet ZOE . Also watch the video below for some more information.

American Muscle

For me it comes down to one car. Steve McQueen's Mustang from the classic 1968 cop drama Bullitt. While it is for sale with a brand new Ford Racing motor with 450 hp to the rear wheels I think it is out of the price range for most people. The closest that most of us will come to a car this nice is saving it to the wallpaper on our phone background or desktop computer. Some might find this crazy but for car muscle car enthusiasts it is the dream that one day we could own a car this nice that keeps us alive. While thinking of this post in general I thought of the many car shows that are on cable television. You know the shows I am speaking of. The show that somehow completes a year of work in two weeks and fits that into an hour TV time slot with commercials. I thought of all the muscle cars in the 60s and 70s that do not get featured on these shows. The cars that are certainly not as flashy as Steve McQueen's Mustang but have the strong power that everyone is looking for when they think "muscle". Yes, these are the forgotten B+ muscle cars, the backup bouncer at the bar, the last cold one in the fridge that the random guest brought to your house party. Specifically, I would like to re-introduce for your restoring pleasure the 1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone.

Now I swear I am not biased to only Ford products. But they do make one hell of a muscle car. If you are looking for a flashy late 60s early 70s muscle this is not the project for you. The '64 features a 289-cubic-inch V8. Ford also built 50 Comet Cycloses with a 425-horsepower 427 V8. This is the same engine that can be found in the Selby Cobra. This is a great car to restore with online prices from $10-$16,000.

Fafard Commercial

The company that I work for is F.R.E. Building Co. in Milford MA. I never would have thought that I would have enjoyed commercial real estate and property management as much as I do. I have really found a passion for not only marketing commercial properties but seeing a deal all the way through from initial cold call to the signing of a lease. One of the properties that Fafard Commercial represents is Quarry Square in Milford MA. This shopping center is always busy and is truly a great place to shop. Trying to think of a great place to eat over the weekend? Quarry Square in Milford Ma has some great options including the beautiful Milford Mandarin. Stop by and check out all Quarry Square has to offer at 196 E Main Street Milford Ma 01757. We are also hoping to get some new restaurants at this great fantastic location. See the ad below for our available pad sites. Or check out the Fafard Commercial Website for all of our commercial properties.

Welcome to the 9-5

Hello and welcome. My name is Ryan Collins and I work in Commercial Real Estate. Let me start off with some background. I live and work in Massachusetts. I am a graduate of Bryant University. I am a student of Business but more specifically entrepreneurship. I have always believed in what you put into something is what you will get out of it. Obviously then it is important to me to put 100 percent into everything I do. The most important thing is not to give up when things get tough.  I once saw this quote walking through the office. It struck me as important. Not only for the reason that the quote itself makes sense. To stick it out. To fight through trials and hardships. But for the fact that the person who had it displayed had been working for the company for 20+ years. There is something to say for that kind of loyalty and commitment.
